Virtually Spectacular:
Sensory Perception

We have moved On the Boards’ biggest fundraiser of the year to the virtual realm.

What does this mean? That it can be bigger and better than ever before. Why do we need it? Because we deeply need each other right now, and we need to show the world that our community matters, performance matters, and ART MATTERS!

Until we can be back in a space with one another we invite you to participate in Sensory Perception.

Join us for a whole month of celebrating On the Boards, each other, and our shared, living vibration through each of our senses.

We know that we cannot go back to our pre-pandemic ways of art-making and presenting.

The world has changed and this experience has transformed how we connect, what we need, and how fast we move.

This Spring, On the Boards is raising $80,000 to ensure that when we are able to again gather as audiences, we can do so with strength, courage, humility, and imagination. But we need you.

These funds, this $80,000 will help* us to PAY ARTISTS whether they are presenting on our stages, online, from their living rooms, from parks, or fields, or from our studio theater. In a time where many organizations have cancelled performances, and essentially also cancelled the financial livelihoods of the artists at the center of that work, On the Boards stayed true to its mission. All contracted artists, counting on that income, are being paid in full.

Next season, we face the uncertainty of our current circumstance. The $80,000 we are raising allows us to commit to artists, even in uncertain times. These funds are a crucial step toward our ability pivot our presentation styles if we need to.

IT'S A 30-DAY FUNDRAISER WITH AN ONLINE PARTY AT THE END!

**$80,000 in NO WAY reflects the total impact of COVID-19 closures, or its effects on OtB's current financial situation. If you'd like to know, you've got a mountain of money, or you'd like to help, call or email Betsey, ASAP.*

WHAT IS VIRTUALLY SPECTACULAR AND HOW TO STAY INVOLVED

On the Boards is facing forward with all the grace and capacity of wit we can muster. No one can predict how long this pandemic will last. When it is over, we will all be clamoring for the opportunity to share in the magic of communal, personal, performance. Until then, we can connect through these special online experiences.

Please mark your calendars, follow us on social media, check out our online fundraiser and make your own mini-fundraiser, and stay tuned for our Virtually Spectacular Live event page for information on how to get involved.
